Ambassador Social Media Kit
Greetings Ambassadors!!!
Here is your March Shareable Toolkit
One of the key roles of our Ambassadors is helping us spread the work we do and the information we distribute and social media is one of the most powerful tools we have to make that happen.
Below you’ll find “5 posts”. Since there are five weeks in March, the goal is “one post per week”.
The order you post in is completely up to you. You also have full freedom to repost any of them more than once throughout the month.
The suggested verbiage is there to guide you. Feel free to write in your own voice. Just please make sure to:
✅ Tag @1kwomenstrong
✅ Keep our links included
✅ Stay aligned with the message
Thank you for continuing to help us amplify our work and reach.
Black History 365:
Even though Black History Month has passed, I celebrate Black history 365 days a year. I’m reposting information from the organization I proudly represent as an ambassador. 1,000 Women Strong highlighted both past and living legends.
These are the shoulders we stand on.
These are the voices that shaped the freedoms we navigate today.
Our history is not just one month it is daily, living, and active.
*Go to our instagram or facebook and repost any of the Black History Living Legends Post.
Local Elections Matter:
Do you know how important local elections are?
Local elections define what happens in your day-to-day life , your schools, your housing, your policing, your public health, your resources. These decisions are made closer to home than most people realize.
As an ambassador with 1,000 Women Strong, it is my responsibility to make sure my community is registered, informed, and prepared for upcoming elections. Information is power. Participation is power.
If you have detailed questions about voting, registration, or upcoming elections, send me an email and I will forward your questions directly to the team at 1,000 Women Strong.
We cannot afford to sit out what shapes our daily lives.

Ambassador Announcement:
I am proud to announce that I am now an ambassador with the incredible organization, 1,000 Women Strong.
1,000 Women Strong focuses on rebuilding and amplifying political power for Black women and our families. Through policy education, legacy storytelling, and identifying community leaders and organizations already doing the work, this organization ensures our voices are organized, informed, and activated.
I’m excited for what this year will bring the events I’ll attend, the sister circles I’ll curate, and the intentional spaces we will create for growth and civic engagement.
If you are interested in becoming an ambassador with 1,000 Women Strong, please connect with me. I will gladly pass your information along to our National Outreach Director.
There is room for more of us at the table.
Bloody Sunday & Selma:
Do you know what Bloody Sunday is?
Do you understand its importance to our civil liberties?
This year marks the 61st anniversary of the march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama where civil rights leaders were brutally attacked while fighting for the right to vote. Only 61 years ago.
Every year, during the week of March 8th, Selma hosts commemorative events and reenactments honoring that historic walk. Each year, 1,000 Women Strong, the organization I serve as an ambassador for, attends in some capacity.
Here is a highlight video from last year’s experience in Selma.:

If you want to learn more, visit the Selma Jubilee website and review this year’s itinerary. I hope one day you experience it for yourself. Standing in Selma is not just history it is responsibility.
Bet on Black
Bet on Black.

When we invest in ourselves, organize intentionally, and show up for one another, we build power that: We kindly ask that you contribute to our 'Bet on Black' campaign. We are asking supporters to either make a one-time contribution of $25 or a recurring donation of $20 to support our organization and sustain our movement.
