Building the beloved community takes a village, and 1000 Women Strong is immensely proud to count the Barbara Lee Family Foundation as a supporter in this work.
Philanthropic activist Barbara Lee announced that her namesake charitable and educational organization, the Barbara Lee Family Foundation, will sunset at the end of 2024. As her last gift, she awarded $2.5 million to organizations doing the critical work of advancing women leaders. We are honored to count ourselves among such incredible company. Barbara Lee is a trailblazer who lifts women up and sparks their power, and we look to her for inspiration as we empower Black women leaders across the country.
