In 2022, we gave reproductive justice support and resources to those who needed it. We got President Biden’s commitment to student loan debt cancellation (and we’re still keeping up the pressure federally.) And we made a huge impact in key states this past midterm cycle, reaching more than 100,000 voters in rural Georgia for the runoff election. Now, we're gearing up for what's next...
Happy New Year!!
As we speak, the entire 1000 Women Strong team is preparing for 2023, building upon our successes to continue our mission: year-round grassroots organizing and engagement driven by Black women and their allies.
The network we’ve built results in stronger communities, louder voices, and collective might to make an impact on the issues that affect us. And we’re just getting started.
This was a huge endeavor, only made possible by our INCREDIBLE organizers and the entire 1000 Women Strong network. We pulled out all the stops and prepared every possible voter we could.
We continue to keep up the pressure on these issues and others in 2023, and your partnership is crucial to this work. As we build our blueprint for political and communal power across the country, we’d love your input.
What are you thinking about this New Year and beyond? What supports do you think our communities need to make their voices heard? This work takes a village. And we’re so excited to continue to build alongside you.
Onward! Thank you!
